Balfour Declaration in Radomsko
London and Radomsko were the only other cities in the world, outside of Israel, to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, as HE Ambassador Anna Azari pointed out.
In presence of Deputy-Minister for Culture to Poland, Jarosław Sellin, HE Ambassador of Israel Anna Azari, the Representatives of the Ambassadors of France and Germany, Rabbi Stambler from Warsaw, the Mayor and former Mayor of Radomsko and with Artur Hofman, President of TSKZ Poland, the largest Jewish cultural organization in Poland.

100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration on November 2nd 2017, with Deputy-Minister for Culture to Poland, Jarosław Sellin, and with HE Ambassador of Israel Anna Azari, the Representatives of the Ambassadors of France and Germany, Rabbi Stambler (Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich, Member of Honor of the Museum, being in the United States at that time), the Mayor and former Mayor of Radomsko and with Artur Hofman, President of TSKZ Poland, the largest Jewish cultural organization in Poland.

In addition to the ceremony, we also distributed the 92-page tourist booklets to the students of Radomsk who were thrilled !
We tried to recreate in the very same place, exactly like 100 years ago, the historical picture where the Jewish children stood in their schoolyard “Joselewicza”, ul.Wyszynskiego 23. The rain did not allow us to redo it from the same angle but the joy was absolutely there !
Finally, the Kesselman Museum private luncheon to talk about our projects with the Minister of Culture to the Mayor of Radomsko. On the menu, Israeli salad (made to perfection !!), some typical Ashkenazi dishes (salmon, herrings, latkes …) and a delicious flag of Israel for dessert !
