MEETING with PRESIDENT of the Republic of POLAND Andrzej DUDA on January 8th 2020
Because this year Hanuka fell between xmas and sylvester, the meeting with the representants of the Jewish Community of Poland was reported to the 8th of January. President Duda brilliantly explained his position of not going to the private event of Yad Vashem if he could not talk there as the Representant of the Nation who the most suffered of the war, where 3 million of Polish Jews, or should I better say of Jewish POLES, perished… He has been much applauded and warmly supported.

We could then talk together about a specific Radomsker matter (President Duda being a Radomsker at heart through his grandmother).
Our dear Member of Honor, HE Fernando Gelbard, former Ambassador of Argentina to France, wrote a special letter to President Duda where he reminded that his father, Minister of Economy in Argentina, José Ber Gelbard, was born in Radomsko, Rynek 5, in the twenties. We asked President Duda to sponsor a meaningful tabliczka (plate) of his choice for the Museum. He said that he was touched and that he will let us know about it. Barzo dziękuję Pan Prezydent.
